Dreamytime Escorts is in the grand crash/bang/wallop tradition of beat-pop bands that enlivened 1966, 1976, c86 and 1996. Guitars jangle, tubs are thumped, basslines spiral and harmonies soar. Garage foundations shake. Suede trucker jackets are slung on the back of plastic chairs. Oil projections do their kaleidoscopic thing.
You know how this one goes, but no-one seems to do it much anymore, so DE have stepped into the breach. For fans of The Jam, The Beatles, XTC, The Rain Parade and R.E.M.
